I don’t want to appear to be a prude, but there is something going on these last couple of years that is beginning to disturb me. I think people have forgotten that matrimony is a holy sacrement. One area that is exhibiting total disrespect for this blessing is the wedding cake toppers, They are beginning to ignore the spirituality of the occasion and opting for humor and irreverence. When you see weird objects like motorcycles and bowling balls to guns and horses sitting on top of the cake, it is obvious something has gone wrong. I would really appreciate a return to custom with the good old bride in gown and groom in tux up there.
