Samsung Galaxy S II and 10.1-inch Honeycomb tablet get shown off at Samsung’s MWC booth

We’re only a matter of hours away from Samsung’s WMC press event, but it looks like they have decided to share a few images of the Samsung Galaxy S II and their new 10.1 Honeycomb tablet a bit early. It’s certainly nice to see the Samsung Galaxy S II again, but since these are the first images of the new Android 3.0 tablet from Samsung, you’ll have to forgive us if we focus out attention on those.

From what we can tell, the new Android tablet is running a stock version of Android 3.0, similar to the Honeycomb tablets from Motorola and LG. The design of the tablet is reminiscent to the original Galaxy Tab with a front-facing-camera on the front, though there are a few touches of flare on the back with brushed metal around the camera and flash, and a circular Samsung logo in the middle.

Now that we know that both the Samsung Galaxy S II and the 10.1 inch Honeycomb tablet are real, all we really need is a few more details on the specs, launch dates, and prices. We can guarantee you that we won’t be getting all the information we want from tonight’s press event in Barcelona, but Samsung should unveil all the specs and possibly give us an idea of which quarter the new Android devices will launch in.
